Mainland Chinese students in need of financial assistance could apply for the state student loan in accordance with the national policies.

The maximum per year for undergraduate students is no more than 8,000 yuan, and the maximum per year for graduate students is no more than 12,000 yuan. The interest is paid by the government during the school period, and the loan period and interest rate shall be implemented in accordance with state regulations. Mainland Chinese students in need of financial assistance can consult with the student financial aid management agency of the county (city, district) where their household registration is located for credit student loans.
